UC San Francisco, Parnassus Heights Project

Represented the UC Regents in its plan to build a state-of-the-art hospital at UCSD Helen Diller Medical Center at Parnassus Heights to meet the region’s growing demand for specialty care and California’s rigorous hospital seismic requirements. Led the negotiations of a comprehensive community benefits agreement between the City and County of San Francisco and the University of California in connection with approval of a 25-year master plan, including construction of the largest teaching hospital in the United States.

The California Endowment

Representing The California Endowment in its vision to redevelop an approximately 1.95-acre portion of its Los Angeles headquarters property from surface parking and a vacant lot (the Backlot) into an affordable housing project with community-serving uses. Providing real estate and land-use counseling to the Endowment as it identifies a development partner to pursue this important mission-driven project.
